Dear Friends, I don't even know what to say I'm in such shock!! I know of no other person that could make me smile any more than Chris! I only would meet up with he and Cindy when shopping and I believe that last time was a year ago in Costco. I loved how his eyes would light up when he talked to you and how what you had to say was important to him whether it was or not. He and Cindy seemed to have a Buddy system and it was so evident that they were one another's cheer leader. Cindy we are so sad and so sorry for you and the children. Ivan , Jean and girls we can not imagine your sadness as well.Please know in the weeks and months ahead you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Hi Cindy and family, I am just back in the office today so I apologize that I haven't sent a message earlier. I was unexpectedly away due to illness and not Christmas holidays as I had planned. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Chris's passing. I only got to meet him the one time and Cindy, only you over the phone, but we had a real sense of comradery being Newfoundlanders and I promised I would stand by you both during his treatment. He was funny and friendly. Motivated. Even meeting him the one time you could see the love and light in his eyes when he spoke of you and the kids. I just wanted to touch base to let you know how sorry I am and to send my deepest condolences. Our patients become part of our lives and they never leave us.
