I remember Iggy so well as a brand new soldier clearing into weapons stores RCD.His name said Gardiner so I proceeded to tell him I was from a place called Gardiner Mines. He then without cracking a smile said I'm Iggy Gardiner from Gardiner Mines. That was April 1966. I always respect Iggy and every time I saw him for the remainder of that year he would greet with a smile and nod. A gentleman for sure RIP

Our sincere condolences to the Gardiner families. Although we'd not met Iggy Senior we feel like we knew him through our dear friends Les and Pat. We knew he loved his family from all the gatherings, and how close you all are with the care he received when needed. And we know of his love for motorcycles, driving one into his late senior years. So sorry for your loss, and at this time of year. Rod and Carla Carney
