Obituary of Linda Elizabeth Moore
It is with profound sadness that the family of Linda Elizabeth (Lee) Moore announce her peaceful passing, at home, on May 10, 2021. Born in Fredericton, NB, on November 22, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Neill) Lee and beloved wife of the late George Robert "Bob" Moore.
Linda led an amazing life with her beloved husband Bob, for 60 years. They were married in 1958, and shortly thereafter, moved to Gagetown and began their farming life. Bob and Linda were always together until his passing in 2018. Mom had many hobbies during and after her life on the farm. She loved to garden and preserve her harvest. She loved to cook, and had a passion for making the best breads, pickles, and preserves, which she passed along to her daughters. Knitting and sewing were a distraction from raising her 5 children. Mom had a love for all of her farm animals, but especially loved her cats and raised many litters of Labrador Retrievers.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved children Cynthia (Robert), Richard (Lisa), Wendy (Richard), Cheryl and Andrea (Donald); cherished grandchildren John (Jennifer), Andrew (Tiffany), Michael (Pamela), Tim (Paige), Stephen (Mallory), Robyn, Jacob, Benjamin and Taylor; beloved great grandchildren Rowan, Lennan, Jack and Wesley; her fur babies Oscar and Felix, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was predeceased by her brothers John and Richard Lee.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Christine and Patricia from Home Care Plus, as well as Extra-Mural, for all their kindness and support.
Due to the current health restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be held at Gagetown United Cemetery. For those that wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
