Obituary of Linda Bernice Justason

With sad hearts, the family announces the passing of Linda Bernice Justason on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Dr Everett Chalmer’s Hospital, Fredericton, New Brunswick. She was the beloved wife of Michael Justason. Born in Havelock, New Brunswick on April 17, 1956, Linda was the daughter of the late Leonard and Bernice Wheaton.

Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, friend and wife. She was an active member (and unofficial greeter) of the Jemseg Baptist Church, and enjoyed singing with the Worship team. She was called to be of service and spent many hours volunteering at the Mill Cove Nursing Home. When not taking care of others, Linda loved to be outside, especially to fish.

Linda will be missed by her adoring husband of 48 years, Michael; sons, Michael and Allan; grandchildren, Eva and Leo; siblings, Sandra, Carol, Heather, Fred, and Brent; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brothers, Brian and Kirk.

Please join the family on Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2023, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm for a visitation at the Jemseg Baptist Church. A funeral service for Linda will be held at the Jemseg Baptist Church on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow at the Jemseg Lion’s Club. Interment will take place at a later date.

Charitable donations to the Jemseg Fire Hall in Linda’s name would be appreciated by the family.
