I love this picture of Susan and I think it is one of her favourites as well. Susan and I have been friends since grade 4 I believe. Her family lived on Huron Street and my family lived just across the street in Pawlett Court. We had many fun times growing up. We went to school together, were on the same cheerleading squad, hung out at Hubbard Park, shared babysitting jobs, went to sock hops etc. etc. ... the list goes on. Life was so much fun back then. Susan moved out West with her family before graduating and we didn't meet up again until she moved back to Oromocto with her husband and family years later. And it wasn't until after that that we picked up our friendship once again, and continued on right where we had left off. Susan was fun loving, loved to make people laugh, kind, considerate and very forgiving person. Her last few years have not been her best and her health was not all that well. You've suffered enough my friend. It's time to rest easy. Give my Bro, Mom and Dad a great big hug and kiss for me! Until we meet again Sweet Susan. Love ya Sista! ❤️

So very sorry to hear of Susan’s passing , our thoughts and prayers are with Susan’s family and friends .I had the pleasure of meeting her a few years back when she came to Liverpool with her brother Skip. We had wonderful conversations, such a nice lady . We stayed in contact , chatting back & forth . She was a big fan and bought many pieces of my stained glass to give to her friends & family , always thinking of others . Rest easy dear lady , till we meet again .

So very many memories of our teenage years in Oromocto: School days, basement parties, driveway dances, late night chats, borrowing clothes, hanging out with friends, discussing boyfriends etc. Then in our adult years discussing children, husbands and family; visiting in Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa. Surprise visit for my retirement from teaching. School reunions in Oromocto 2001 and 2020. The list goes on but the love and friendship will never die. Thank you Susie for being my friend and “sister. Love forever.

Wow, how shocking to read Susan's obituary. We had a wonderful chat after Rick Morrisey's funeral. Her brother Jack and I were friends in our teenage years. No wonder she had a love from music. Many a get together with music were held in their house on Huron Street. My deepest sympathy to Jack and Skip and to her children. Your mother was a lover of life and may you share in her belief. Rest in Peace.
