We are so saddened to hear about Janice’s passing. Our lives are so much richer for knowing her. So many times we were privileged to have Janice ( and Trisha) accompany us to nursing homes for services. It was so easy to sing along with her piano playing ( and guitar accompaniment) and conversation was always wonderful. It was like we knew her forever not just a short couple of years. We will miss you; it hurts to know you are gone from us. Janice, Rest In Peace! dear sister! You have fought a good fight! You have won the race!
Prayerfully,
Majors Dan & Renée Dearing

Dear Mrs. Foster, Winona, Jerry, Stephen and Family.
Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of Janice, my dear sweet friend. We became friends when I started to work at Agriculture in 1975 and hit it off instantly and have been best buds ever since. We may not have gotten physically together all the time over the years but stayed in contact through phone calls, e-mails, cards and Facebook. Even when time had lapsed, we could just start talking like it was yesterday and just pick up where we left off – that is what true friendship is like. Janice was like a sister to me, and I loved her dearly. Today my heart is sooo heavy knowing that she is no longer with us but our loss is heaven’s gain. I can’t begin to imagine how you all are feeling but God knows all about your grief and pain and he will comfort and strengthen you and guide you through this very difficult time. I can’t seem to wrap my head around the fact that Janice has passed but we must take comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain and discomfort and is rejoicing with her Lord and her Dad. I would have loved to pay my respect to the family at the visitation and the funeral but, because I look after my 97 year old mother, my husband and I do not attend functions, other than going out for essential items, since Covid hit trying to prevent Mom from getting the virus and also keeping me safe so I am able to care for her. I hope you all understand my absence because, if things were different, I would be there in a heartbeat. Although I will not be there physically, please know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers and I know God will wrap his arms around the family and carry you in his love. Rest in peace, sweet Janice, as you have earned your wings. Heaven has gained another angel!! Sending love and comforting hugs. Love and prayers, Kathy Cochrane.

My heart is so sad with the passing of Janice. She was such a soft spoken kind woman but who had a wit that would crack one up. Janice was a member of the Agricultural Gals who met at least once a year for supper. I met Janice back in the early 70's when she joined the team of The Farm Adjustmentent Board. She loved her work and always had time for all the girls & for years was a confidant, hair dresser, babysitter to my two children (inviting them to stay for a week for summer Bible school) . Her love of her niece's was unconditional and we all heard of their adventures with Auntie Janice. I am still shocked to hear of her quick passing but know that she has found her loving Dad and her eternal Father who is holding her tight and healing her pain. Now please Janice go find Little Allan and give him a big hug from his Mum. Janice you will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by your Mum & Winona, Gerry & Stephen and all your church community. The Agr. Gals will certainly have you in our thoughts this sad time. Love and Miss You. Steff

Janice was a true christian girl. She loved her family and loved to sing and play the piano. She loved Jesus and people. I remember living in Geary for a short time and always seeing her sweet smile and bubbly personality was so heartwarming. She is in heaven with her angel Dad who she loved and adored. She was loved and will be missed by all those who were privileged to know her. I can see Bro. Foster now with his arms wide open welcoming his daughter who made him very proud and now they are singing in that heavenly choir. RIP sweet Janice and may your love live on in the hearts of those who loved you.

My heart was so sad when I heard of Janice's death.
She was one of my piano students back in the late 70's.
I asked her to come to Los Angeles or meet me at the Brooklyn Tabernacle many times but, unfortunately, that didn't happen but we kept in touch all of these years since then.
My condolences to her Mother & her siblings. I will be missing her until we meet together there.

My condolences to all of Janice’s friends and family.
I met Janice when I was 14 . As a newly arrived military kid to her Parents church in Geary, Janice tucked me under her wing and mentored and loved me like family. I can remember admiring her as she played the organ and sang at church. Oh and gurl could dress!!! She was right at the top of the list Hair did and styling head to toe. I will never forget her loving kind smile. It flowed straight from the heart. Through the years, even though I moved far away, Janice loved me from afar. When I came back to Canada no matter where I went (usually church events) I can still hear her and her parents voices shouting Wendy from wherever they were. I always felt so loved by her and them and the feeling was very mutual. I will miss the times of going for coffee and shooting the breeze and talking about her doggies and how she would be decorating next. Lol . How she listened to my troubles and prayed for my daughter when there were no words anyone could much say. She was so kind and so warm, loving and giving. So happy she is no longer in pain. She is with her main man Jesus now. Oh how she loves Him so!! I will meet you at the feet of Jesus dear friend!! Bye for now!!

Janice was a fine Christian woman who loved her Lord. She and I worked at Church taking care of the positions of Secretary/Treasurer and it was wonderful doing the work of the Lord together. So many memories I will treasure of my friend, had some laughs and some tears. She will be greatly missed, there will be a void in my life because of her passing. God has taken her home where she will no longer be in pain and I pray one day we will see each other again.

To Mamma Barbara, Winona, Jerry and Stephen and all the family
Janice was the sister I never had and I have been blessed to know her. We loved doing music together and talking about our Lord.
We solved all the world’s problems, and could shop till we dropped! My heart is broken and I will dearly miss our daily back and forth on messenger and our phone calls. We talked briefly yesterday. I know she is rejoicing with Jesus, but I also know you are all deeply grieving her loss and Olivier and I will be keeping you all in prayer. Much love and many prayers, Olivier and Judy
