Helen was a proud Cape Breton’er, although she lived most of her life in the Oromocto area, where she was greatly involved in her community for the last 60 years. She loved to volunteer for many organizations and was known to be a great organizer. She loved to travel and explore the world, and she was always up for an adventure.
Helen had a strong faith and she left her blessed, indelible mark on everyone she met. She approached life with a positive attitude and a friendly smile. She touched the lives of many around the community and the country. She was loved, and will be missed by many, most especially the family of whom she was so proud.
There are no goodbyes for us, Helen, wherever you are, you will always be in our hearts.
A special thanks to all the medical staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Extra Mural, Hospice House Fredericton, and the Model Town Medical Clinic for all the compassionate care you showed to Helen during her illness.
