Obituary of Donna Mary Carr

Donna Mary Carr started her earthly life on January 16, 1936. She finished it on Wednesday evening, May 18, 2022, moving quickly and peacefully from this life to the next, with her husband of 70 years by her side, to where she is now free from the limitations of an aging body. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Ivan Hedley Carr; six children, Debbie (Dwight) Palmer, Brenda (Roger) Carr, Michael (Sharon) Carr, Larry (Anna) Carr, Marylynn (Carman) Mills, and Rose (Rachel) Carr-Paul; sixteen grandchildren, Angie, Janice, Jonathan, Nathan, Leah, Sarah, Stephanie, Corey, William, Michael, Andrew, Amber, Ben, Celeste, Tanner, and Tamara; 23 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Joyce Parent and Shirley Gahan. She was predeceased by her parents, Winslow and Helen Boone, as well as great-grandsons Patrick Hagmann, and Justice Heath. Donna exemplified everything to be desired in a mother, wife, grandmother and friend. The lives of all who knew her have been forever blessed and branded by her selflessness, kindness, steadfastness, faith and cheerful disposition. She has left those she loved for a short while but we will see her again. The viewing and funeral service will be held at Works of Faith Assembly, 962 Route 655, Waasis NB. The viewing will be on Saturday, May 21, 2022 between 7pm-9pm. The funeral service will be on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 2pm. Rev. Carman Mills will officiate. Interment will be following the service at the Sunpoke Road Cemetery. Following the interment, all are invited back the church hall for refreshments and a time of fellowship with the family. For those who cannot attend in person, the funeral service will be live-streamed on our website at https://worksoffaithassembly.ca/. Memorial donations to the Works of Faith Assembly Foreign Mission Fund would be appreciated by the family.
