Obituary of Claire Dale Dale

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Claire "Dale" (Lindsay) Dale on April 17, 2022, at Hospice House Fredericton. Born on October 18, 1943, in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Walker and Florence (Hawker) Lindsay. Dale is survived by her loving husband, of 58 years, Lloyd Dale; children, Stephen Dale (Brenda), and Brenda Haas (David); grandchildren, Colton Dale (Chelsea), Taylor Maschmeyer (Bronson), Kyle Haas (Arina) and Konner Haas (Rebecca); two beautiful great grandchildren, Rhett and Stetson that brought Dale so much joy and happiness; sister, Muriel Brooks (Maurice); brothers, Tom Lindsay (Kathy), Gil Lindsay (Joan), as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Dale was predeceased by a sister Lorraine Lindsay. The simple pleasures in life brought great joy to Dale. She loved a quiet evening with Lloyd and their crossword puzzles, or being at the hockey rink cheering for all 4 of her grandkids. She had an ability to find happiness everyday, and her sweet personality was contagious to everyone she met. A special thank you to Dr. Jillian Higgs, Dr. Greg Thompson and all caring nurses at Fredericton Hospice. They all took a special part in Dale’s care, and she appreciated them immensely. A memorial service will be held at Oromocto Baptist Church on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 2 pm, with Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley officiating.
