Obituary of Doreen Evelyn Mason

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Evelyn (Lohnes) Mason at Hospice House Fredericton on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Born on August 23, 1945, in Dartmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late Wilson Saunders and Evelyn (Rodenizer) Lohnes. Doreen will be missed by her children Daniel MacLean (Karen) and Richard MacLean (Teena Gleason), as well as many close friends, family and neighbours. In addition to her parents, Doreen was predeceased by her beloved husband, of 49 years, Ian Mason; sisters Marilyn Poirier and Virginia Kupkie, as well as her brother Robert Lohnes. At Doreen’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. For those who wish, donations in Doreen’s memory may be made to the Oromocto SPCA.
