Aunt Germaine and I got reacquainted a few years ago and became pen pals. I would ask her questions about her growing up on the farm, my father (her brother) and her early life. Among many things I learned was that the 'mystery woman' in my parents' wedding photos was my Aunt Germaine! It was great fun to receive a hand-written letter from her. I am going to miss her very much. She was such a joy. I will re-read her letters, which I kept, and think of her often. She made it clear that there is great love between Germaine and her family. I offer you all my deepest sympathy.
