Obituary of Marion Irene VanTassel

It is with sadness that the family of Marion VanTassel announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the age of 87. Born in Lawrencetown, NS, on December 10, 1934, she was the wife of the late Cecil Boyd VanTassel. Marion leaves behind her son, Ronald VanTassel (Robin Crawley) of Montreal, QC; daughters, Kelly VanTassel of Waterville, NB, and Sharon Keizer (Paul) of Geary, NB; grandchildren, Patrick Crawley and Jonathan (Tracy), Timothy (Shelley), and Benjamin (Ashleigh) Keizer; great grandchildren, Hayden, Noah, Tait, Molly and Makeda Keizer and Noah and Caleb Ingersoll; brothers, Ronald Weagle (Maureen), Ted Weagle (Brenda) and Glen Titus (Sharon); many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large extended family. In addition to her husband, Cecil, Marion was predeceased by her parents, Harley and Alma (Joudry) Weagle; brother, Donald; and sisters, Phyllis, Shirley and Helen. Mom. Now that you're in heaven, send us angels just like you. You will be in my thoughts always. Your Son Ron! A private family graveside service will be held in the Burton Cemetery at a later date.
