Obituary of Yvonne McGarvey

It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Yvonne McGarvey at the Oromocto Public Hospital on December 18, 2021. Born on August 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Hilda Doak. Yvonne will be missed by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth; children Chris (Hélène), Timothy (Simonne), and Joseph (Karoline); siblings Fenton, Dick, Catherine, Brenda, and Mary, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by her sister Linda. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 12:00 pm. Due to current provincial regulations, proof of vaccination and government issued identification will be required for entry to the service.
