Obituary of Ernest Murray Warman

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ernest Murray Warman of Lincoln, New Brunswick announce his peaceful passing on November 16, 2021at the age of 84. Born on June 27, 1937, he was the eldest son of the late Lea and Louise (Bubar) Warman. Murray grew up in Upper Gagetown, New Brunswick, attending school and playing sports with many life-long friends. He later moved to Lincoln and spent his working career as an electrician with CFB Gagetown. Over the 50 years as an electrician, he provided a helping hand to many in need. During his retirement, he loved to travel, visiting many destinations throughout North America. Murray loved being around friends and family never turning down an opportunity to play BINGO or cards with family. Woodworking was a passion and he was always tinkering with a few projects. Sports and politics were another interest. There was usually a conversation to be had. He also enjoyed watching Baseball, Hockey, and Curling on TV His motto was "Take a little longer to do something and get it right". Murray is survived by his two sons Glendon (Linda) and Shawn (Murielle); will be missed by grandson Alex (Abby), granddaughter Nicole (Brad) and special great grandson George; his sister Beatrice Hogan (Pat); his first wife and the mother of his children Pauline Phillips, along with many nieces and nephews; special friends who were an important part of his life Karen and Tom O’Toole, Julia Gallant and Lucie Ashford. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Roy and second wife Phyllis (nee Allen). Many thanks to the nurses and doctors who helped Murray though the last part of his journey. Arrangements are under the direction of Oromocto Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held to celebrate Murray’s life, followed by an interment at the Upper Gagetown Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Chalmer’s Foundation.
