Obituary of Paisley Raine Cusack

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of the beautiful Paisley Raine Cusack on October 23, 2021, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Paisley opened her eyes and was welcomed by her parents, Shania Kavanaugh and Austin Cusack, on October 10, 2021. The love she brought to this world was immense, but it was returned to her in the same amount by her loving family. Although she was only around for a short time, she was fierce, strong and sweet, and she will forever hold a special place in everyone’s hearts. Paisley will be greatly missed and cherished by her parents, Shania and Austin; maternal grandparents Tricia Kavanaugh and Jamie Graham; paternal grandparents Kenny Cusack (Lynn) Ingrid Bernard; great grandparents Thomas & Mary Kavanaugh, Ellen Bellefountaine, and Anita Bernard; Godmother Megz Marten; uncles Jamie Kavanaugh (Kenzy), Nathan Graham and Ryan Cusack (Leeanne), as well as cousins Lilly, Lucas, Mason, Oliver, Jack and Alex. She is now united and being cared for by her great grandparents Ralph Graham, Sara and Hamilton Cusack. The family sends a special thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital NICU, for their compassionate care with Paisley and her family throughout the last couple of weeks. A memorial service for invited guests will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 2 pm, with Fr. Charles Udeh as celebrant. Due to current provincial regulations, proof of vaccination and identification will be required for entry to the service. Donations in memory of Paisley may be made to the DECH - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
