Obituary of Terrance Brian Kennedy

It is with sadness that the family announce the passing of Terrance (Terry) Brian Kennedy on April 3 2021, in Oromocto, New Brunswick. Born on September 8, 1949 in Minto, NB, he was the son on the late Stan and Leah (Drost) Kennedy. Terry retired after serving the Oromocto School District community for 42 years as a well-established maintenance man. He carried on with painting, mowing and general maintenance even after retiring. He loved curling, playing golf and cards, and spending time at the lake with the family in the summers. Terry will be missed by his loving wife, Brenda; children Mark (Tanya) and Scott (Lynette); grandchildren Brock, Zane (Alannah), Lauren, Tatyana, and Wesley; great granddaughter Sophia; brothers Fred (Verlee) and Kevin (Faith); sister Wanda Hallett (Brent); sister-in-law Yvonne Williams; special friend Emilie Akerley; many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. In addition to his parents, Terry was predeceased by his sisters Pauline and Marie and brothers John, Carl, Winston, Paul, Frank and infant brother Edward. The family wish to extend special thanks to Terry’s health care team for all your help and support. There will be a public visitation on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5 – 7 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home. A private Memorial Service will take place on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 2 pm.
