It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Donna Marie Carr of Geary, NB, announces her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the age of 60. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, on March 23, 1961. Donna was the love of his life, wife, soul mate, best friend and rock of Kevin Carr for 35 years. In addition to her husband, Kevin, Donna leaves behind her much loved daughter, Jennifer Spencer (Steve Currie); cherished granddaughter Madysen Carr (Seth Nason); mother, Betty Crowe; brother, John Porter; sister, Marlene Farrell (Mike Galey); mother-in-law Josie Carr; brother-in-law Derek Carr (Cathy); sister-in-law Gail Gardner; nephews, Christopher Farrell (McKayla Alley), Adam Carr (Liz Kerton) and niece Jennifer Gardner; great nieces Kallie and Addie Farrell, and Sara Gardner; great nephew Shawn Carr; a great great niece Sophie Gardner. Donna was predeceased by her father, Jack Crowe, whom she loved with all her heart. Donna will always be remembered by her family as a loving daughter, wife, mother, nana, sister, and sister-in-law. These roles she took on with great pride and honor. Donna was lovingly known as "Mamma D" to many. She would help anyone no matter the circumstance. Donna was the one anyone could rely on, when she showed you that beautiful smile you knew you had a friend forever no matter what, and there were many great friends in her life. Donna always enjoyed spending time at her "little piece of Heaven" as she called it, her camp in Little Lake. She had a great passion for going on her side by side, she would go for hours at a time and explore many places often not knowing where she would end up, but always found her way back. Donna also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and was an avid Bingo player. Donna will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. There will be no formal service at her request. A private celebration of Donna’s life for family and friends will be held at her "little piece of Heaven" at a later date. For those who wish, donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
