Obituary of Ida Jesso

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Ida Jesso on Friday, November 27th, 2020, at White Rapids Manor. Born on April 26th, 1927, in Sheaves Cove, NL, Ida was the daughter of Charles and Louise Jesso. Ida is survived by her daughters Adele Benoit of Barrie, ON, and Adeline Walsh of Oromocto, NB; her six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sisters Annie Curnew, Irene Benoit (Fintin), Linda Cormier, Dinah Warrel (Berrnie), Loretta Jesso (Willie); brothers Clayton Jesso (Trixie), William Jesso (Gladys), Arnold Jesso (Joan), Nolan Jesso (Lewena), Allan Jesso (Corina), Donald Jesso, Martin Jesso (Audreay). She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Louise Jesso; son Lonnie Jesso; son in law Richard Benoit; sister Maggie Mae Cormier, Sarah Rowe; brother Walter Jesso; step mother Theresa Jesso. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at White Rapids Manor for their care and support of Ida during her stay. Due to the current restrictions of COVID-19 there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A service and burial will take place at a later date in Newfoundland when the family can gather in her memory. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
