Obituary of Martha Kathleen Shirley Turner

Martha Shirley Turner of Oromocto, N.B left to go dance with the love of her life, and best friend of 62 years, Robin Turner, on October 12th, 2020. Martha will be greatly missed by her three children, two foster children, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, her loving sister, and many friends. Martha was a social butterfly and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. She was a great cook and enjoyed the comfort of a good meal. She loved to read, and she enjoyed listening to music of all genres. Martha was a selfless woman and always saw the good in people. She was the best mother and grandmother you could possibly ask for. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the 4 southeast, and 3 east, units of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for their kindness and compassion during Martha’s stay. At Martha’s request, there will be no visitation or service; a private internment will take place at the Pine Grove United Church Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Oromocto SPCA in Martha’s memory.
