Obituary of Murray James Gerein
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Murray James Gerein on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020 at Fredericton Hospice House. He was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, on January 9th, 1965 and was the loving son of Marcella and the late Walter Gerein.
In addition to his mother, Murray leaves to mourn his loving wife, Donna and beloved son, Chad. He will be greatly missed by his brothers: Pat (Kim) Gerein, Mark (Tanya) Gerein, Glenn (Therése) Gerein, Reg (Shelley) Gerein, Neil (Jenna) Gerein, and sisters: Adele (Keddy) Gamble, and Marilyn (Rob) Rutley.
Murray served our country for 25 years and he was an excellent father and husband. He had a great love of music and could always be found playing a tune on his favorite guitar. He loved meeting everyone on Wednesdays to Jam. He will also be dearly missed by the local boxing club.
He is predeceased by his father, Walter and his sister Joanne.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Fredericton; you are earth angels.
Murray would have loved for his family and friends to gather in his memory, however, due to COVID restrictions and protocols, his family will celebrate his beautiful life in private at the family home, on Saturday, September 26th, 2020, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. For those who wish, donations in Murray’s memory can be made to Hospice Fredericton.
