Obituary of Jacquelyn Georgine Mahoney

After a number of years of declining health, Jacquelyn G. (Coy) Mahoney passed away at her home on Saturday, August 8, 2020. Born in 1956 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Annie (Lyttle) Coy and the loving wife of Eugene Mahoney for 44+ years. Along with her husband, Eugene, Jackie will be greatly missed by and forever in the hearts of her children: Dennis Mahoney of NL and Lindsay Mahoney of Fredericton; her precious grandsons Camden and Mikinnley Lenentine; one brother; her dearest friend Jane Knight; and many friends, co-workers and extended family too numerous to list. In addition to her parents, Jackie was predeceased by two brothers. A special thank you to Dr. Greg Haines for all his care over the years. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Oromocto Funeral Home – 108 Winnebago St., Oromocto, NB (506) 357-5100. Due to the current social distancing restrictions, a small, private, family gathering will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Interment will follow in St. Bridget’s Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Jackie’s memory can be made to the Village of Gagetown Volunteer Fire Department.
