Obituary of Edna Jennine Legacy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edna Legacy on Tuesday, June 22, 2020 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on October 10, 1928, Edna was the loving wife of the late Alphonse. Edna was dearly loved by her children Shirley Legacy, Jeannine Lagacy, Linda Legacy (Hermel), Rose Johnston (Colin), and Leonard Legacy (Roxanne). She leaves to mourn her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her brothers, and sisters. In addition to her husband, Edna is predeceased by her daughter Eva Daigle, and her son Roger Legacy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Med 1 and the Oromocto Public Hospital for the kindness and care they extended to Edna during her stay. There will be a public visitation on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Oromocto Funeral Home from 2-4pm, and 7-9pm to allow guests the opportunity to celebrate the life of Edna while still following social distancing requirements. Oromocto Funeral Home will have staff available to advise guests on proper procedures. A private service celebrating Edna’s life will take place with Fr. Charles Udeh officiating. A burial will take place at the St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery immediately following.
