Obituary of Janet Henderson

It is with great sadness that the family of Janet Henderson announce her death at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 at the age of 78. Janet was born in Hawkins Corner, New Brunswick on August 30th, 1941 and lived most of her life in Oromocto, NB. Janet is lovingly remembered by her sister, Jean (Loggie) Dunnett of Oromocto, NB; Gordon (Liz) Henderson of Peterborough, ON; Margaret (Tim) Shears of St. John’s, NL; and Andrew (Sylvia) Henderson of Charlottetown, PE. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Janet was predeceased by her parents, John and Phoebe (Connor) Henderson; beloved sister, Sheila Henderson; and brother, William Henderson. There will be no visitation by request. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel, 108 Winnebago Street, Oromocto, N.B, with Rev. Lori Beth Sheffield-Bowles officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Benevolent Fund of The Oromocto United Church or a charity of the donors choice.
