Obituary of Tanya Lyn Bateman
It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Tanya Lyn Bateman. Born November 28, 1982 in Fredericton, NB, she was known for her smile, infectious laugh and sense of humour. Her voice was one you could not mistake in the largest of crowds. She was proudest of her two beautiful daughters that meant the world to her and more. She had a heart of gold that will live on through every soul it touched. She looked up to her big brother Tony, in essence she was her brother’s keeper, no matter how far apart, no matter the distance.
She is survived by her mother Debbie Boudreau; her daughters Gabriella Gauthier and Abigail Bateman; her father Kenny Bateman; her chosen father Blair Boudreau; her brother Tony Bateman (Tiffany Tidd); her niece and nephews Griffen, Desiree, and Teagan; her aunts and uncles Jason Boudreau, John Boudreau, Rick and Shannon Alcock (Corey & Shawn), Ed and Kelly Alcock (Stephanie & Samantha) Wayne and Sheryl, Ron and Peggy Bateman (Jennifer & Jolene), David Bateman, and Susan Bateman; and her grandfather Mike Alcock.
Tanya is predeceased by her grandfather Sonny Bateman; grandmother Thora Bateman; grandfather Ken Boudreau; grandmother Anne Boudreau; grandmother Lorraine Alcock.
Tanya will be remembered by how she could make everyone laugh and always beamed with love when talking about her girls. She will always be the electricity we feel in the air of any room.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Please come wearing comfortable attire. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.
