Obituary of Roger Down

It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Roger "Dave" Down at Hospice House on September 11th, 2019 at the age of 65. Born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Roger and Norma Down. Dave leaves behind his son, Roger Down (Courtney Barton); daughter, Krystle Maillet (Matthew); and granddaughter, Emily Maillet. Dave’s family will forever remember his great talent for playing the piano along and his ability to learn, and play, many other instruments. Dave also played hockey and was an avid fly fisherman. At Dave’s request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fredericton Hospice House.
