Obituary of William Alfred White

On August 26, 2019 a quiet and gentle soul moved from this world to the next. It is with incredible sadness and heavy hearts that the family of William (Fred) White announce his passing at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, surrounded by his devoted family. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy in 2017, his parents, John and Mary White and his sister, Bernadette Edris. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his five daughters: Jeanette (Todd) Flynn, Cochrane AB; Jacqueline Pidskalny, Kingston, ON; Vivienne White, Kippens, NL; Doreen (Bruce) Spicer, Sydney, NS; and Melanie (Martin) Blanchard, Oromocto, NB; his eight grandchildren: Alexandra (Chris) Keough, Kelsey & Kyra Flynn, Marc & Thomas Surette, Cameron & Emma Blanchard and Kaelan Pidskalny as well as his two great-grandchildren, Brantley and Palmer Keough. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers: Armand (Juanita), Thomas (Margie), and Nick, and his sisters: Ethel (Gil) Scott and Norma Tucker as well as many relatives and friends. There will be no funeral service in Oromocto, as he will be brought to his home of Stephenville, NL to lay him to rest next to his wife.
