Obituary of Eugene Weigum

It is with sadness that the family of Eugene R. Weigum announce his passing at Hospice House, Fredericton on June 29, 2019. Born on May 12, 1923, he was the last surviving child of John and Barbara (Diede) Weigum. Eugene will be missed by his children, Peter (Debbie), David (Denise), Rebecca Millburn (Michael) and Bonnie Penner; his grandchildren, Heather, Hilary, Caroline, Madelyn, Natalie, Emily, Cameron, Brandon, Michelle, and Charlie; great-grandchildren, Penny and Shay. Special thanks to the entire staff at Hospice House for their kindness and thoughtful care during Eugene’s final days. A visitation will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hospice House would be appreciated.
