Cameron was a kind, sensitive, funny, helpful, special person. When you met Cam for the first time, he could make you feel like you’ve known him forever. He was very outgoing and easily captured the hearts of his family, his friends and their families. Cameron loved his mom, dad, sister and brother, and grandparents dearly.
Cameron’s passion for sports was evident at a very young age. He played baseball starting at age 5, then football earning several trophies and awards. In middle school he also played baseball, again earning provincial titles and played basketball as well earning a provincial title. At 14 he played club volleyball for the St. Thomas Tommies, the UNB Reds and Ecole Ste. Anne, earning more awards and titles. He enjoyed volleyball and the friends he made there. Cam never really showed an interest to play hockey but he certainly enjoyed running the DJ music at their home games at the King’s Arrow Arena and the crowd enjoyed him. He loved to play ball with his mom and dad too.
He was his mom’s#1 fan and she was his! The thing that Cam was most proud of was NOT the awards and trophies but the friends he made, who he loved. Cameron loved us all and we love him.
There will be a Celebration of life from 2-4 pm on Friday, July 5th, 2019 at the Oromocto Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 6th, 2019 at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel, 108 Winnebago St. Oromocto, NB.
