Obituary of Arthur Field

It is with great sadness that the family of Arthur "Art" John Field announce his passing on June 6, 2019 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, on June 4, 1941, Art was the son of the late John Field. Art is survived by his children, Patty, Tracey (Dennis), Brenda and Clinton; sister, Gertie; grandchildren, Terri-Anne, Shane, Shannon, Makayla, and Cassidy; great-grandchildren, Keira, Linkin, Nathan, Autum, and Lyla; as well as Phyllis Scott, several half-siblings, nephews, nieces and cousins. In addition to his father, Art was predeceased by his loving wife of thirty years, Marion (Cummings). Art loved spending time with his "Tim Horton’s Gang" and could as often as not be found on the golf course or at the Gage Golf and Curling Club. A special thank you to the staff of 4NW and especially Dr Moore for his care and kindness. A Legion Tribute will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 at 2:00 pm to be immediately followed by a memorial service to be held in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or to Hospice House Fredericton.
