Obituary of Bonnie Rodday

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of Bonnie Jean (Campbell) Rodday on May 9, 2019. Born on August 16, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Minerva Campbell. Bonnie leaves behind her loving spouse of 31 years, Michael Merrett; son, Tyler Merrett; daughter, Angela Thompson (Corey); grandchildren, Abby and Caleb Thompson; stepson, Brad Merrett and family; stepdaughter, Jennifer King and family; sisters, Theresa Comeau (Wayne), Cathy Stewart (Eddie), Laurie Lavender (Stephen) and Jerri Carle (Brent); brothers, Gene (Heather), Reid (Judy) and Troy (Cindy); sisters-in-law, Karen, Wanda, Susan, and Alice; brothers-in-law, Steven, Rick and Billy; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Bonnie is predeceased by her sister-in-law, Linda. Bonnie has many friends because of her beautiful soul, bright smile, contagious giggle and her love for life. She will be missed dearly by family, as well as her camping friends, her friends from ceramics, washer toss and her co-workers. Visitation will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street, Oromocto on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 6 – 8 pm and Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 1 – 2 pm. A service will follow at 2 pm in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
