Obituary of Gary Hawkins

It is with great sadness that the family of Gary Hawkins of Burton announces his passing at home, on January 1, 2019. Born in Fredericton on July 3, 1964, he was the son of the late Gary Hawkins and Brenda Hughson. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Louise, brother Darryl, sisters Tanya (Shayne), Shelta (Bruce), and Stephanie (Jeff), and many extended friends and family. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his grandparents, Margaret and Ronald Hawkins, Lorne and Elizabeth Graves, and his stepfather Bill Hughson. Gary was a builder of all things. Artistic by nature, he took the utmost pride in all that he did. If there was something that needed fixing, he would do it and if he didn’t have it, he would build it. His true passion was restoring antique cars, along with hunting and NASCAR. All are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at the Burton Lions Club on Sunday, Jan 6, 2019 from 12-3 PM.
