Obituary of Julia May Warden
It is with deep sadness that the family of Julia May (Drummond) Warden, announces her passing at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, December 28, 2018, Fredericton, NB.
Julia was born, October 18, 1927 and grew up at Harts Lake, Gagetown, NB and then raised her own family in Gagetown, where she continued to live the majority of her life. She was employed with Appleby Bindery many years until her retirement and was always an active member for many years with RCL Branch 71, Women’s Auxillary. She was a wonderful cook and loving, devoted mother, had a great sense of humour, and was kind and generous. She treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We are thankful that she lived a long and full life. She will be greatly missed.
Julia was predeceased by her parents Annie (Brown) and Fred Drummond, as well as siblings, Gordon, Ivan, Francis and John and sister Barbara. Also predeceased by her husband Frank Warden and three infant children.
She is survived by siblings, Annie (Covert) Boone, Willard (Verna) Drummond and Gary (Beverly) Drummond, as well as her own children Freeman (Lennie) Warden, Doris Warden and Jean (Ralph) Scott; grandsons, Freeman T and Benjamin; granddaughters Samantha, Katie and Julia May and great grandchildren Tavia, Calix, Liam and Nakyla.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 2 – 4 pm. Julia’s funeral will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2 pm with Rev. Jane Johnson officiating.
