Obituary of Boyd Richard Clowater

With great sadness, the family of Boyd Richard Clowater announce his passing on May 6, 2018. Boyd was the son of the late Ronald and Margaret Mae (Stewart) Clowater, and husband to Charlena Grace (Morehouse) Clowater. They celebrated their 60th anniversary on April 7, 2018. Aside from his wife, Boyd is survived by his son, Richard Martin of Ottawa, ON; daughters, Cathey Mae Corey (Steven) of Florenceville-Bristol, NB, Diane Boydette Davidson (John) of Geary, NB; grandsons, Dustin Matthew Davidson of Shaunavon, SK, Mathew Drew and Dexter John Corey of Florenceville-Bristol, NB, Jeremy Martin Boyd Clowater and Nathan Alexander Clowater of Ottawa, ON; granddaughter, Kathleen Boydette Crawford (Graham) of Benin, Africa; sisters, Mona Darline Bell of Fielding, NB and Juanita Donna Brown of Grand Lake Road, NB; sister-in-law, Phoebe (Curtis) Clowater; as well as many nieces and "favourite" nephews. In addition to his parents, Boyd is predeceased by brother, Perley Clowater; sisters, Marion McLean, Eva Price and Valerie Lyons; as well as his half-brother, Harold Stewart. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Oromocto Funeral Home from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. A memorial service will be held at Geary Baptist Church on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Robert Weaver officiating. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 93 will hold a tribute service at 1:50 pm prior to the memorial service. Memorial donations in Boyd’s memory may be made to Green Hill Lake Camp, Village of Hope or Rock Solid Refuge.
