Regardless of circumstances, losing a loved one is never easy; however, we trust some level of comfort can be felt just knowing you have gained a family guardian. May all of the fond memories of Gary bring you comfort/peace during the hard felt days ahead. Look back on all those good memories and cherish that you were able to enjoy them with him.
Our sincere condolences to all family members.

As I read through Garry’s obituary and comments I found myself smiling at just how thoughtful Garry was. Whether he was meeting someone who needed a friend for coffee in the Jeep club or saying let’s go out in the woods and take a ride. He was the man who was always there-you could call him and say I’m stuck out in the woods with a nearly unknown location and he would find you and get you out or say I’ve got this or that and it won’t start-he would figure it out and make it work. He always had a good joke and if you were in his presence there was always laughter. Many leaned on Garry in some of their darkest days and they did so becuase he was a true friend and comrade in every sense of the word. His love for Michelle and Dominic unwavering as he spoke proudly and lovingly of both of them.
Michelle and Dominic, what an incredible loss, we hope you can find some peace in the happy memories with Garry.

To the family of Gary my deepest condolences. Here are a couple of my good memories of him. He gave me the last dog I will ever have a dog that went two postings and was almost 20 years old when her time came, thank you for Sandy.
When we were in Borden together you were the first person I met that fought in medak. There were others but you were the first. One of our best days was getting the old ferret scout car running and driving around the base for the day, neither of us having the proper 404 for that vehicle but you were crew commander qualified so that’s what you did. You are going to be missed my friend but it’s our turn now we have the watch alpha alpha, bravo bravo.
