Obituary of Bonnie Fields

It is with extreme sadness that the family of Bonnie Fields announce her passing on August 31, 2024.  Born March 12, 1939.  She is the late wife of Lewis Archibald Fields. 
 

Bonnie leaves behind her children, Kelly Mason, Anne Fields, Mike Fields; grandchildren Katelynn Mason, Justin Mason, Kiana Mclean, Carmen Wilkins, Aurora Fields, Logan Fields; great-granddaughter Caroline; and sister, Linda Duff.

Bonnie is predeceased by her parents, Raymond McGetchie and Katherine McGetchie; son, Dennis Fields; sisters, Donna Derrick and Pauline; brothers, Paul McGetchie, Leon McGetchie, Owen McGetchie.

One of Bonnie’s favourite pastimes was sewing, as well as cooking, crafts and dancing. Bonnie really enjoyed living at The Enhanced Living in Oromocto. Thank you to all the staff at the Enhanced living for all the love and attention they gave her.  The family wish to extend sincere thanks to the staff at The Fredericton Chalmers Hospital for all their care.

There will be no visitation by request of the family.   A private gravesite for family will be held in Geary, Waterville, French Lake Cemetery. For those who wish a memorial donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
