Obituary of Beatrice Marie Theriault-Shanks

The family of Beatrice Marie (Surett) Theriault-Shanks sadly announces she passed away on August 24, 2024, in Oromocto, New Brunswick. She was born on May 14, 1919, in Bear River, Nova Scotia

In addition to her parents, Ellie and Mary Surette, she is predeceased by her husband, Camille Theriault; her common-law partner, Handford Shanks; brothers, Henry, Edmond, Leonard, Freeman, and Daley; sisters, Evelyn and Maryrose; daughter, Annette and sons, Gerald and Benny. She is survived by her daughter Cecile Sundquist (Jan) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 2-4 pm at Oromocto Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel. A private family interment will be held in the Preston Carr Cemetery, Geary, New Brunswick. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
