Obituary of Gloria May Murray

Gloria May (Middleton) Murray passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB, where she had been a resident for the past 8 years. Gloria was born on May 15, 1955 to Wendell and Mary (McGibbon) Middleton in Fredericton, NB.  

She is survived by three sisters, Jo-Ann Bridges (Gary), Diane Murray (Derrick) and Nancy Thomas (Michael); and their families.

Gloria graduated from Fredericton High School class of 1974. She worked 25 years for the Ramada Hotel. Gloria was a member of the Lakeville Corner Baptist Church and the Lakeville Corner Women’s Institute. 

A funeral service will be held at the Lakeville Corner Baptist Church on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2 PM. There will be a visitation and celebration of her life held at the Lakeville Corner WI hall from 3-5 PM, Friday, April 26. Memorial donations can be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada, the Lakeville Corner WI or charity of your choice. Gloria was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend and will be remembered with love.  The family deeply appreciates the wonderful care, support and friendship that Gloria received from the staff of York Care Centre.
