Obituary of Lillian Ethel Hawkes

In loving memory of Lillian Ethel Hawkes (nee Leeck) who, in her 93rd year, passed away peacefully at Oromocto Hospital on April 15, 2024.

Adoring wife of the late Don Hawkes and proud mother of Donna Pippy (David) and Gord Hawkes (Debby). Sister to Marie (Lloyd). Grandmother to Selina (Jason), Lucinda (Rodney), Shawn (Sarah), Meaghan (Adam) and Kristin (Lance). Great-grandmother to Kent, Carter, Lilly, Adele, Cameron, Lucas, Van and Eva.

Lillian is predeceased by her sisters, Emma, Edna, Violet and Frieda; brothers, Seaford and Ernie, and great-grandson Keaton.

Lastly, a special thank you to Millie Power and Barb Rogers who never let the dark envelope you fully. You will be sorely missed by all.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00pm, at the Oromocto Funeral Home. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
