Obituary of Sylvia Mary Tufford

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sylvia Mary Tufford announce her passing on April 15, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 8, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Rita (Bowers) Coolen. 

Sylvia is survived by her loving partner, Barry Moulds; son, Terry Tufford (Brenda); daughters, Charlotte Hall and Christine Brook (Steve); grandchildren, Brittany and Dylan Tufford, Nicholas Savoie and Adam and Sara Brook; sisters, Deborah Leblanc (Don) and Andrea Sheehan (Bob) as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by her son-in-law, Gary; brothers, Dennis, David and Tom and sisters, Betty, Joan, Laura and Carol.

A memorial mass will be held on April 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Oromocto, NB.
