Obituary of Arthur Botyanski

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of my beloved husband,  Arthur Botyanski, which occurred on April 7, 2024 at home.  Born on July 20, 1954 he was a son of the late Alfred and Kathryn (Kaulbach) Botyanski.

Arthur was every bit an athlete starting at a very young age.  He excelled in many types of sports and activities.  He attended St. Francis Xavier University where he was athlete of the year.  He also held weight champion titles in Nova Scotia.  In his later years, not slowing down at all he played rugby with the Niagara Wasps before moving to New Brunswick to make wonderful memories with his wife.   Arthur met and married the love his life Diane, who were married 44 years ago on December 22.  Together they had a beautiful life living out their dreams. 

Besides his wife, Diane, Arthur is survived by is brother, George and his wife, Wanda; nephews and his god children, Lucas and Blake. 

Keeping with Arthur’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
