Obituary of Wallace Randolf Sabattis
It is with great sadness that the family of Wallace Sabattis announces his passing at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Woodstock, NB on March 3rd, 2024 at the age of 62. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Ambrose and Doreen Sabattis.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert (Bev) of ON, and Wilfred of Oromocto, NB; sisters, Rosanne (Ian), and Jacqueline of Oromocto, chosen sister, Virginia (Jason); special goddaughter’s, Jessie-Lynn and Megan (Lance); aunts, Rosemary and Cora of Kingsclear, NB, and Patricia of Fredericton, NB as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by brothers, Kenny, Patrick, Clayton, and Floyd (Smokey); sister, Catherine (Cathy); special nephew, Perry; great-niece, Natasha; great-nephew, Anthony, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Wallace loved playing his guitar, singing, and drawing. For many of his younger years he also enjoyed working in carpentry.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Oromocto Funeral Home. Visitations will be held on Friday, March 8th, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday, March 9th from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in the spring.
The Sacred fire for Wallace will be held at the Welamukotuk First Nation Health Centre, 5 Nikia Ln, Oromocto, NB and will be lit on Thursday, March 7th. Family will also be gathering at the Health Centre before and after the Funeral home visitation and Mass.
