To Lisa, Joanne and all of the many family members mourning the loss of a great lady, Lucille, my deepest condolences at this time! I have very fond memories of “Mrs. Gunter”, from several summers spent on “the farm” (as my family always referred to it). We had the privilege and honor to get to know and spend time with your wonderful family over the years and I think of Lucille almost as a grandmother. She was kind but direct (herding many young children on busy farm days required this approach), but she was always patient and accommodating. I remember boiled new potatoes and peas, strawberry shortcake with fresh homemade biscuits, trips to the market and the cash payouts for services rendered in the berry and pea patches and potato field (I probably ate as many strawberries as I picked…lol). Wonderful days and great memories, now many days in my past, but never forgotten. I know that Mrs. Gunter is quite happy today in the arms of Jesus but she will be greatly missed! Prayer and sympathy, Robert (Laure Ann) Paddock and family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Lucille's passing. Mom thought the world of her and so enjoyed going to Seniors and playing Domino's. I always marveled at how good Math skills they had mine not so good lol. She was a wonderful lady . I am sending my thoughts and prayers to you all .
