William “Billy” Thomas Carr

1950 – 2024

 

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of William "Billy" Thomas Carr at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on January 22, 2024. Born on April 10, 1950 in Fredericton Junction, he was the son of the late William S.  Carr and Pauline M. Carr (LeGassie).

 

Billy will be missed by his daughter, Andrea Hawe (Donnie); grand-daughter Caitland; brother-in-law, Stan Howe (Dianne); sister-in-law, Joanne Noble; nephews, Troy Howe, Kevin Foss, Eric Foss; niece,  Tanya Milton and many cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Debbie Carr (Wood); his sisters, Gloria Anne Howe, Mary Lou Carr; niece, Carrie Howe.

 

Billy started at a young age as a Heavy Equipment Operator working with different companies and later working at the Fredericton Airport for 30 years until his retirement.

 

Billy was an avid outdoorsman and really enjoyed hunting and fishing.

 

A celebration of life will take place at the Geary Lions Club, 712 Broad Road, Geary, NB on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2-4 p.m.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Geary, French Lake, Waterville Cemetery Committee.
