Obituary of Master Warrant Officer Sean Carroll

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Master Warrant Officer Sean Carroll on September 8, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 27^, 1985, in Antigonish, NS, he was the son of John “Jimmy” and Emily (Parsons) Carroll.

Sean was a decorated member of the Canadian Armed Forces, and a dedicated father of three. He loved spending time gardening, canoeing, cheering for the Canucks and working with his hands as a skilled carpenter. He loved his dogs and working on his cars as well as spending time with his family around the campfire.

He will be deeply missed by his loving spouse, Sonya Janes-Carroll; cherished children, Riley, Charlie and Georgia; parents, Jimmy and Emily; sister, Laura MacIsaac (Matty); brother, Stephen Carroll (Rose); nieces, Madeline MacIsaac and Abbigail Carroll; nephew Jonathan MacIsaac, as well as many extended family members and close friends.

The family wish to thank all of the oncology team at the Saint John Regional Hospital for all of their care, and compassion given to Sean and his family during his time with them.

A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Chapel, CFB Gagetown, on Saturday, September 16^th, 2023, at 11 am. For those who are unable to attend the service, the memorial service can be watched at https://vimeo.com/866743860?share=copy
