Obituary of Myrtle Laura Good

The family is sad to announce the passing of Myrtle Laura Good on March 12, 2023 at White Rapids Manor Nursing Home, NB. Born on April 26, 1933, she was the last of 16 children born to George and Myrtle O'Leary.

Myrtle will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, an avid BINGO player, a competitive 45’s card player as a member of the Oromocto Seniors Club, and a spectacular gardener, able to grow anything anywhere.

She will be missed by her son, Richard (Judy); grandchildren, Tracey Hlady (Adam), Clint Read (Melody), Melissa Good, and Scott Good (Victoria); as well as 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Myrtle was predeceased by her husband, Lawrance, and daughter, Bonnie.

Thank you to the staff at White Rapids Manor for all their compassionate care for mom over the last two years.

A visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, with burial in the French Lake, Waterville Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, or the Oromocto SCPA would be appreciated by the family.
