Obituary of Arthur Wilmot McAllister

Arthur Wilmot McAllister, loving husband of Florence (Gauvin) McAllister of Burton, formerly of Gagetown, N.B., took his last breath at the age of 98, February 7th at the Veteran’s Health Unit, Fredericton, N.B.

He was retired from C.F.B. Gagetown where he worked many years at the Base Fire Department.

Besides his wife, Arthur is survived by his daughter Donna McAllister-Lepack (Perry), granddaughter Lisa Warren (Tina), and great-grandsons Nolan and Jameson. He was predeceased by his parents, brother and infant sons.

The family extends special thanks to the staff of the Veteran’s Health Unit, Dr. Keddy, Dr. Blythe, and the staff of 3E at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at the St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Gagetown, N.B.
