Dear Earl, Monika and Roger. We are very sorry to hear that Heide has gone on her final journey. Good you were with her. We share our deepest and heartfelt sympathies with you.
I remember Heide from when I was a child, as for some time she was like a daughter to my mom and dad - and bit like an older sibling to me. In 2007 we met her last time when we were visiting Monika and Sean in Ottawa. Can’t remember why, but she shaved Sean a bald head that time. Since then we kept in touch via email. We will keep Heide in our memories as “unsere Cousine in Kanada”.
