I am so sorry to hear of your Dads passing. I have such fond memories of both my time that I spent in Rusagonis in the mid 80's,, and heading to Oromocto while working on the base. So sorry to hear of John passing my husband & I first met John in the early 80s when he had the garage in back of what now is the Canadian tire gas bar in oromcto. RIP JOHN too his family take care he is at rest now. Or fixing cars somewhere for sure.

I moved here from Cape Breton 25 Years ago to work with Oromocto Plumbing, and I first met John when his Business was at the Irving Wassis rd, Oromocto (Canadian tire Gas Bar now). John was like a Cape Brentoner, outgoing, kind, and would do what he could to help you out and always took time to talk to you for a while. John is going to be missed by all who knew him. My sincere condolences to John's family. I started taking my vehicle to John in 2008 when I moved to Oromocto, on my mother's recommendation. She had known him for decades and in her eighties and nineties, still driving, he would drive her home after she dropped her car off, and then pick her up when it was done; she loved his kind ways and conversation. I never met anyone so kind, honest and sincere. I was so glad Chris started his business and that John was there as well. I will miss him, as I am certain many others will.

When I first met John I was in desperate need of the great mechanic. I was told to call John Warren and no one else. I did. Best decision I’ve made. John was not only an amazing mechanic but honest, kind, a great storyteller and a friend. Over the years we had great conversations, jokes, discussions about home cooked old fashioned food and the dream of travelling to The USA, and around Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. Many times I thanked God for the staff at Warren’s. The was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. I remember him forever and I know I’ll think of him often. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

So very sorry to hear of John's passing. He was our go to mechanic for many years and always managed to keep our old jalopies safely on the road for far longer than they might otherwise have been. He was such a pleasant, funny man, even in the midst of what was obviously a stressful, busy business, never failing, even on the very busiest of days, to give that extra bit of old fashioned attention and service to his customers.
