Obituary of Sheldon William Gouthro

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Sheldon William Gouthro on July 11, 2022 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Born on June 4, 1971, in Sydney, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Raphael & Anita (Ruelland) Gouthro. Sheldon was a dedicated husband, father and soldier. His life revolved around his family and enjoying every moment with them. He loved spending his time gaming with his boys, Daniel, Jacob and Nathan or catching up on favorite shows and movies with his girl, Laura. Sheldon loved to be busy and was always willing to help out a friend with any project they were working on. He was a proud soldier for over 30 years and loved his military life and all the great friends he has met over the years. His best stories always started with "one of my buddies from work". Lastly, when it was time to relax, you could find him snuggled up with his baby, Maggie, on his lap and his beastie, Raven, at his feet. Sheldon will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend of 29 years, Audrey; his sons, Daniel, Jacob and Nathan; his daughter, Laura-Marie; his brother, Raphael; sister Shauna; his mother-in-law, Laura Hennessy; and nephew, Raphael. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, William; father-in-law, Kevin; and sister-in-law, Doreen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church, CFB Gagetown, New Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheldon's name to Lung Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
