Obituary of Reginald Eugene Middleton

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Reginald Eugene “Reg” Middleton announces his passing on November 22, 2025, in Oromocto.   Born in Lakeville Corner, NB on December 8, 1933, he was the son of the late David and Ruby (London) Middleton. 

He is survived by his children, Cindy Middleton (Réal), Terry (Alyson) Middleton and Troy (Angela) Middleton; grandchildren, Jason Middleton (Amanda), Jessica Matush (Cory), Allison Kalb (Chris), Ryan Middleton (Yvonne), Meagan McLaggan (Kyle)  and Julia Middleton; great-granddaughters, Arya and Kaylee; sisters, Phyllis Welch, Shirley Patterson, Judy Thompson and Gail Tucker (Clayton); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Beside his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Irene Middleton; sisters, Florence and Helen; brother, Wendell.

To Alicia, Alyssa and to all the staff of Enhanced Living Oromocto, a heartfelt thanks for all the wonderful care you provided.

A funeral service will be held in the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 11, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Mary Tingley officiating. Interment will take place in the Sheffield United Church Cemetery following the service. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Sheffield United Church Cemetery Fund or to the Oromocto SPCA.
